Tickled Teals Entertainment Terms and Conditions 

Please take a minute to review the following Terms and Conditions that dictate the use of Tickled Teals Entertainment. Please be advised that through using Tickled Teals Entertainment you hereby agree to the Terms and Conditions listed below. Please note that these Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the website and that Tickled Teals Entertainment reserves the right to change, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you. For these reasons, we encourage you to review this page every time you access this website.

If you do not or are unable to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions present on this page. Please do not use the site.

Due to the nature of balloons, once the product has left the store, been delivered or set up, it is the customer’s responsibility. We advise all customers to be gentle and careful with the balloons as they can be fragile and can pop easily. 

Helium Balloons 

• Latex balloons are 100% biodegradable latex and can pose a threat to those with latex allergies. 
• We do not sell helium balloons for the use of outdoor releases and if we find the customer has done so with our products, they will be banned from purchasing in the future. 
• We cannot inflate balloons not purchased by Tickled Teals Entertainment. 

Cancellation / Changes

• If you need to cancel, please get in contact with us within 24 hours of the scheduled date. If we have already started the order, it cannot be cancelled. 

• All changes and updates to your order should be done within one (1) hour of placing the order. After one hour, we will do our best to track it but it could already have been delivered. Please double-check all the information in your order confirmation that you receive when you place your order.

• Unfortunately, during peak holidays it is extremely difficult to make changes to an existing order. We will make every effort, but change requests are not guaranteed.

Delivery

• Please ensure the person receiving the order is aware of the delivery time. If no one is there to accept the order, we will return to the store and contact the customer for pick up. 

Environmental Impact 

• Latex and micro foil balloons pose no threat to humans, wildlife or the environment when handled responsibly. Latex is biodegradable and we can provide personal video evidence if requested. 
• Broken or uninflated balloons can cause harm to young children and should be disposed of immediately.
• We do not sell helium to be inhaled and strongly advise against it. 
• Returned foils will be repurposed into balloon weights. Returned balloon weights will be reused.

Weather

• Balloons used outside must be tied down and helium balloons are not recommended for outdoor use. We cannot guarantee perfect results with balloon decor outdoors. Foil balloons will shrink in the cold and helium balloons may not return to full size once they are moved indoors. 
• Balloons exposed to the heat/sun turn a velvety colour and darker colours are more likely to pop. Balloons out in the cold will shrink but return to their original size in warmer weather. 
• Balloons are, by nature, temporary items: Although Tickled Teals uses only the finest quality balloons, some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected and will also be adversely affected by wind, rain, rough handling, sunlight and other uncontrollable factors.

Payment

• Certain products allow for a 50% deposit however the full amount must be paid in order to receive the order. 
• Tickled Teals operates in Ontario and charges 13% HST as indicated on the order.

Pricing and order acceptance

Tickled Teals Entertainment goes to great lengths in order to ensure that all prices listed on our website are accurate and up to date. However, in the event of a typographical error or a mistake of another variety, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the sale of such product as it was made under incorrect pretenses. Although rarely enacted, Tickled Teals Entertainment also reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, if we deem it necessary to do so. If Tickled Teals Entertainment cancels your order, you will receive a full refund.

Billing and Registration

Any and all information provided by you to Tickled Teals Entertainment relating to billing and registration must be truthful and accurate. Providing false information to Tickled Teals Entertainment may be considered a breach of the Terms and Conditions required for the use of Tickled Teals Entertainment. Understand that by completing the checkout process, you are agreeing to make payment on the item(s) requested.

Decor Specific Terms 

Equipment

• Equipment used such as balloon inflator, stands, frames, nets, hoops, lights, flowers etc. are property of Tickled Teals Entertainment and must be returned/picked up within 3 days following the end event in the same condition as given. The equipment is the client’s responsibility during use and must be treated as their own. If stolen or returned broken the client may be liable for up to the total expense of replacing said equipment.

Decor / Large Order Setup

• The client has checked and ensured it is okay to use latex balloons at the location or has previously indicated that the setup will use exclusively foil balloons. 
• Please ensure the setup location/area is prepared such as doors unlocked, backdrop set up, and lights on etc. 
• The setup time is outlined as the time slot the customer booked. Due to unexpected circumstances that can occur with any event, we reserve the right to make changes only in the best interest of our clients. If the facility is not available or set up at the promised time, the decor may be left in the nearest acceptable location. Additional time required (if available) to complete the job will be billed at $25/hour. 
• Once the decor is set up, Tickled Teals will take a photo that it was completed.

Balloon Decor Take Down

• The client may request a takedown of the setup however timing is dependent on the decorator’s availability. 
• If the location is outside of North Bay, additional fees may apply. 
• The client is given ownership of the balloons and therefore may pop, take home, give away or resell the balloons/foils. This does not pertain to equipment, frames, lights, leaves, flowers etc. 
• If requested, Tickled Teals can offer the balloons to local charities which would include free setup for them. The charity must be within North Bay and is based on availability.
